Aloha from Hawaii! Niu Valley currently is the only community without playground equipment in East Honolulu. A resident of our Valley created the beautiful logo attached for our community to use in generating support, funds and excitement. As you can see, our swinging little girl expresses the happiness we all feel (adults and children alike) working toward having our playground built. So don't forget to ask your community members for artwork, as well as children. Aloha, Jeannine Johnson, Niu Valley Community Association
Aloha Jeannine! What a great idea! A well-designed logo can really help your project get recognized. As someone with a background in graphic design, though, I need to share that good logos are actually really hard to do. If you ask a local artist for this, realized that designing a logo might actually be harder than designing several brochures. Amy
