What are assets?
Assets are the skills, talents and gifts of individuals, associations, and organizations, along with natural resources that can be shared with a community.
What are association assets and resources?
Associations are informal and formal groups of citizens working together to achieve a common goal. Don't let the name fool you - all associations are not necessarily called associations.
By involving an association in your project, you have the opportunity to engage multiple people, access special opportunities for funding, and tap a variety of resources you might otherwise not have access to. For example, associations might be able to provide meeting space, meeting facilitators, or technical advice.
How can associations contribute to your project?
Some associations may have access to cash, but many will not. They'll all have access to interesting and talented people, and some may be able to share or donate products, goods, and services of their members.
