Cell Phone A-Thon
Everyone has them (cell phone) how about raising funds for a playground while using them.
Prep Steps:
1. Secure a location
2. Recruit 50-75 college students with cell phones
3. Have them to call anyone on their cell phones and ask for pledges
4. Have each pledge to be shouted out to a person keeping a running tally on a chalk board
5. Have the students write down addresses, names and amount pledged
6. Each student should be given stamped envelopes with a pledge card to fill out for each of their pledges.
7. All letters can be dropped in the mail box to go the pledges the same night

1. Stamped envelopes and pledge cards
2. Pens/Pencils
3. Tables/Chairs
