Kids won't just be the users of the playground - they can help in its creation!
Consider having a "Design Day" where kids who will use the playground can draw what they would love to play on - it'll give you a good idea of what equipment to buy! Kids' drawings can also be used on flyers and in fundraising materials.
Also, on Build Day, kids can contribute by painting 1x1 squares or bricks to decorate the play area, and create a paper chain for the ribbon cutting event at the end of the day.
