Labor unions sometimes have important political connections that can be useful for fundraising. Ask the labor union to sponsor a fundraising event on behalf of the playground fund.Post flyers in the labor union meeting rooms.
Encourage a group of union members to come out on Build Day. Many members will have valuable skills and could make great build captains.
Ask members of local labor unions if they have access to some of the tools and materials you will need for the playground.
