Playground fundraiser planned

FREETOWN — The Freetown Elementary School Playground Committee will be holding a Family Fun Day and Motorcycle Run on Sept. 13 to raise funds to build a new playground.
Registration for the motorcycle run will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the school.
"It will be a mystery run, so I can't say where it will go, but it will take an hour and a half and there will be a pig roast and raffle at the end," said Diane Huling, a fourth-grade teacher at the school.
The cost of the motorcycle run, including the pig roast, is $20 for a single rider and $35 for a couple.
The committee is currently working on obtaining raffle items.
