Sometimes a little publicity can go a long way!
Send photos and a press release about your build to local newspapers, with information in there about how to contribute to the project. It's a great way to recruit donors...and volunteers!
As one user said in the KaBOOM! Forums:
After a great Design Day with the Sixth grade class of Community Day a Jewish Day School in Pittsburgh PA, we sent pictures and a press release into the the Jewish Chronicle. It was our hope to raise awareness so that it would be easier to recruit volunteers. We got that and more. One of the local foundations read the article and called the Director of Development at the school. He wanted to know if we wanted $5000 so that we could complete our fundraising. Was he crazy...of course we wanted his money!! We are trying to build this playground in record time just 4 months, over the summer when everyone from school is away. The foundation's gift was heaven sent. We can know spend our time raising people instead of dollars.
You just never know what you are going to get when you spread the word.
