Having a friend on the police force is extremely valuable when it comes to building a playground! Logistically, you'll need somewhere to keep the equipment safe between when it's delivered and when the playground is built - and having a police officer willing to check on the storage location while on patrol is a GOOD THING. Once the playground is built, making sure its location is incorporated into your police department's rounds will also help ensure it remains a safe place to play.
