Your local utility company can sponsor a portion of the playground:
benches, tables, gazebo, border, etc.Ask your local companies to conduct a utility check to locate power
lines, water and gas pipes, and telephone or cable wires on or near your playground site.
Ask utility companies to advertise your community-build project
as part of their monthly statement mailing.
Utility companies have access to "cherry pickers" - which are great for taking aerial photographs. Aerial
photos of your site in the planning phase can be useful for fundraising purposes. On the day of
your build, an aerial photo of the new equipment and all volunteers makes a great thank-you gift for sponsors.
