A veterinarian could bring pets to the build for the children's activities. Creating a small petting zoo (a safe distance from the build area) or showing children an exotic bird or lizard is a great way to keep kids entertained during the Build Day.
Ask the veterinarian for dog and cat check-ups to raffle off or give as volunteer thank you's.
